ENGINE REMOVAL

now the rebuild is progressing its time to remove the engine.due to the very clever design of the ADR the easiest way to do this is to take away the complete rear subframe. once un bolted we proped the rear chassis on wood and removed the rear end!

now the rear end was out of the way,we began removing the fuel tank, coolant and oil lines, ecu and all engine wiring from the engine so we could simply unbolt it and lift it out! an hour later it was done and there was a big space for the new motor to drop into! the bmw motor is going up for sale and would make a great motor for a kit car etc with a built in reverse gear and flat 4 design. it sits nice and low in the chassis.
any way this is the motor out and the rear subframe mounted back on the car!
